Morning Hymn -- Lift Every Voice and Sing

Gloria Patri
Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Ghost. As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen. Amen.

The Apostles' Creed
I believe in God, the Father almighty, maker of heaven and earth. And in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried;
The third day he rose from the dead; He ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty, from thence He shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost, the Holy Catholic Church, the Communion of Saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you on this beautiful day with thanksgiving and praise. Lord, we pray that you will forgive our acts, words and deeds that were not pleasing in Your sight. We pray that You will continue to lead and guide us as we face the many challenges that this life presents. We are so grateful for mercy and kindness towards us and that You have seen fit to let our lives roll on.
We come now pleading for this land. We are troubled by sin and plagued by the coronavirus, other health issues, family and financial matters, and just plain sin, and we ask that You will hear our prayer and heal our land. We are confident that only Your comfort will sustain us in the days ahead.
Lord, as we enter another month "Shelter In Place" we enter it with the assurance that You are with us and that You are our constant source of protection. We pray that you will touch our hearts and minds with the desire to listen to your Word, to depend on it for guidance, and to find shelter in it in this time of social unrest. It is with this belief in Your Word that we pray in the most precious Name of Jesus. Amen.
